To get to most of these places, well - it takes an effort and it cost money to fly out there.
Living in the Bush is expensive, "stuff" is way too expensive as it all has to be barged in or flown in on commercial or private aircrafts.
Enjoy the photography here. This is the Bush Alaska, a good life and a rough life can be had as it is lived by so many Alaskan Native and a few transplants!
They have my respect.
And I am thankful for all the help and hospitality over the years.
The land is fragile, the winter is long and so is the summer, the spring and fall is short. With care and great respect one can travel and return, if no respect for the land is had - once return from a trip into the great land is not a sure thing!
