pal2094.jpg an old US Navy ship reclaimed by the land out by Togiak in Western Alaska aerial stock photo

An old shipwreck reclaimed by the land. This old world war two Navy ship was blown ashore during a high wind storm in western Alaska and just blown ashore where it got stuck. Over the years, the costal shoreline changed as the shallow Togiak Bay gave way to the tundra which reclaimed the old US Navy Ship. Today, the ship can be viewed as one fly low over the tundra to the Alaskan Native Village of Twin Hills and Togiak in western Alaska.
