Iceberg in Inner Lake George, an aerial photograph.
A floating iceberg Inner Lake George. The iceberg was photographed as I flew low, just 50 feet or so over the lake. Flying this low is something that makes you very careful, can't loose any altitude, and you can't bank too hard in the turn. What a great evening sky, reflecting in the water. Photographed with the Nikon D2X camera and the 50mm f 1.2 lens. The effect of global warming and change in our climate is creating our glaciers in Alaska to melt and recede at an accelerated rate. This is the cause that made this picture possible, the Glacier is melting!Add to Cart Add to Lightbox Download
