The Alaskan Native village of Nuiqsut with Alpine satellite oil field Nanuq on the horizon.
An aerial northeast view of the Alaskan Native village of Nuiqsut. The ConocoPhillips Alpine satellite oil field Nanuq lies just a few miles down the Colville River, near the National Petroleum Reserve of Alaska. Great hopes for new reserves of oil and gas are associated with NPRA. Alpine, like most oil and gas production on the North Slope, has a very small footprint and operates cleanly with minimal impact. Nuiqsut is located nearest to the North Slope oil fields of any of the Alaska bush comulities; this village is also one of the very richest of them all.Add to Cart Add to Lightbox Download
